New Friends

So last Sat. I got the great pleasure of meeting a few ladies in Claremont CA at the very adorable yarn shop Colours. This cute little store is right up the freeway. With a great selection of nice yarns we had the best time looking through every shelf and picking up a few of our favorites. After a few hours of yarnie goodness we headed to lunch at The Harvard Square right across the street. We got to sit in the beautiful southern Califonia sun and look at yarn and share projects. Stacy wore the most beautiful hand knitted sweater and we oooohed and awwwwwed over her craftmenship all day. Karin had her works in progress sweaters that I am dying to see finished. Her love of grey can not be matched and her sweaters are stunning. M had her beautiful crocheted sweater work in progress to share, and I am so excited to see her finish this one.... After we filled our tummies we walk along the quant streets of Claremont window shooping and chatting. (and taking up the sidewalk) :) Stopping at a Some Crust bakery and treating ourselves to a desert then headed to a more window shopping. Oh and we can't forget the possiblity of a new knitting recrute. A very nice lady asked us at lunch about our projects and Karin worked her magic on her. I think she is headed to the dark side :)
I can not express to you all how nice it was to hangout for the day with these ladies. I really enjoyed our time together and I look forward to meeting up with you all again very soon..
